circa 1850, 18 1/2in. overall and turned from boxwood, ribbed 5in. grip section, the remainder painted black and with a large hand painted gilt Victoria crown and garter device near the grip marked 'CHIPPENHAM HUNDRED CONSTABULARY' within the garter, the centre bearing the Royal quartered armorial, generally good condition but with some worm which does not detract
